Hi, I’m Sadie — the creative behind by Sadie.
I’ve always loved making things that feel personal. Whether it’s painting, lettering, baking, or building a brand from scratch, I find joy in the little details that make something one-of-a-kind.
With a background in business and a heart for creativity, I’ve blended the two to offer services that feel both thoughtful and intentional. Outside of work, you’ll find me baking new recipes, traveling for inspiration, or lost in a sketchbook.
This space is a reflection of everything I love — and I’m so glad you’re here.
The Story Behind
by Sadie started way back in 5th grade when I launched Sadie’s Sweets. I wanted to make desserts that were safe for people with allergies—something I didn’t see a lot of back then. It was my way of combining two things I cared about: helping others and getting creative.
Later on, I started Flourish by Sadie to offer custom calligraphy and lettering, and it became this whole other creative space for me.
Now that I’m in college, I’m bringing everything together under one name. by Sadie is where I get to do it all—baking, painting, design, marketing—you name it. It’s my favorite way to share what I love with others, and I’m so excited to keep growing it.
I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but I spent part of my childhood living in Singapore, which sparked my love for travel, culture, and seeing the world through a creative lens. I’m currently studying Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation, Marketing, and Business Analytics at the Kelley School of Business, where I get to combine my passion for creativity with a strong foundation in strategy and problem-solving.
My interests span everything from calligraphy and watercolor to marketing strategy and branding. I love helping people bring their ideas to life—whether that’s through art, baked goods, or creative campaigns. My goal? To make things that feel intentional, personal, and just a little magical.
